- Alex SAlways a highlight of a beach dog walk from Old Hunstanton (park next to Le Strange arms - if you go later in the afternoon, parking tends to be free). Great food (although the burger i would say is good, but not great)! However, there is a good choice of some of your English favourites. We are slowly trying to make our way around the whole menu, but fish and chips (our favourite) is always in the corner of our eyes! We always sit in the beautiful garden, and depending on the time of the year, in the sun, it really is quite tranquil (backroad off A149, so no noisy traffic). They also sell Adnams beer, which is one of my favourite tipples. Staff were great, and the dog was more than welcome! Overall, it ticks all the boxes and more; a real hidden gem!
- Al WGood food at sensible prices. Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff with a lot of good old English dishes mains and sweets.
- darcus nWe've been camping locally so keep popping in for a drink. Ate there last night and it was great. Veggie cottage pie was one of the best we've had served in a pub and the pecan pie was to die for. Portions were a good size and prices very good for North Norfolk. Nice sized beer garden for when the sun was out. Dog-friendly so, all in all, it ticked all the right boxes for us and did it well. Recommended.
